Final Theory Lesson

Head down to BBDC for final theory lesson this morning. Is uber boring!!!! and of course a waste of money attending those lessons. Although it is a good summary of the advance theory, I can’t seem to register any of those information covered during the lesson. >.< Haii… I’m going to pay for the whole driving course myself.. Blah!! So expensive!! :/ At least 2-3 months of salary will be use to fund my driving lesson.

On a side note, I have registered for japclasses in the hougang japanese language school, after much persuasionto attend the class at kovan by some1 and how impressed I was over others who have already been learning the language. I’m determined to master this language, no matter how much it will take. I want to go japan!!!!

With CNY approaching, there’s like super a lot of goodies at home. Damn! I’m gonna get fat (which I already am) over CNY.. -.- Reunion dinner tomorrow night at home. Lucky thing, Dad ordered the set meal from a tze char stall in alexandra, so there will be minimal cooking! YAY!!! Next week will be such a short week with only THREE working days! haha. Dread going back to work (*even though workload is pretty manageable >.<)

Chinatown

Cousin came over to help me pack my photos.. THANKS GIRL! However, I’m still a long way to finishing.. Haii.. Too much photos taken last time. >.<

Head down to Chinatown for the annual trip. Ate at a tze char stall in Hong Lim Food Centre. Is not that fantastic.. So there will not be a 2nd time. Anyway, I think I saw Wendy in Chinatown. However, I’m not too sure. >.< O well.. Bought quite a bit of stuff ranging from the usual gua zi, peanuts, love letters, kuah balu to the Taiwanese Organic Peanuts. Is uber nice. bought those when we were touring in Taiwan.

Falling Sick

Damn! Is kinda near CNY yet I’m falling sick. Hmm, not exactly the sick sick but the lack of sleep sick. -.-”’ Feel super sian/ dying while at work in the morning. Thanks to Kai Li who brought the flu medicine, I was feeling so much better by lunch time. Lunch was the best one ever so far! We went over to cine for a baked rice lunch! =) Lunch-ed at the Hotdog’s cafe. Since there was a Wii there, I finally got the chance to try Wii! Super funny I must say! We played till 1? In the end, we must rushed through the food in order to rush back to office! >.< Anyway, I’ve decided to have a daily intake of fruits in office. So I’m gotta buy lots of fruits and snack on fruits only! Work not that boring anymore, I chat with my colleagues + email(msn style) with friends + listen to music (n sing-a-long) on top of work. Kinda fun dun u think?

Basic Theory Test

Took half day today. Went down to BBDC for BTT. After SO FREAKY LONG, i finally took the test and pass it. -.- Applied for PDL and booked FTT, FTL, FTP, FTE.. All on saturdays! yay! Not taking anymore half days anymore. I can start booking practical lessons too! Shall start booking some soon!

A Post Finally!

It has been some time since I last update.. Well actual this post has been kept in the draft for a long time! Just too lazy to upload all the pictures. >.<

25th Dec:

Didn’t do much. Practically waste the day sleeping away at home! haha. Had a Jap buffet dinner at Kuishin Boi, Jurong Point. I must say it did meet my expectation. The food was a lot better than the other jap buffet we had the last time round.. We ate as fast as we could and left the place before 7 so that we can have a 5 dollars discount. Anyway, this was the first time I was there at Jurong Point after the extension open. Did some grocery shopping at Fairprice Xtra before heading home. The Fairprice Xtra is rather unique as it is situated on the third floor in the new wing.

26th Dec:

Other than having to go to work myself, it was pretty much a normal working day. I guess?

27th Dec:

Chiong-ed down to Jurong Point last min after a phone call from mum. I was wanted only because the This Fashion Card was in demand, lol. Anyway, I was late for the Mafia gathering. Paiseh! Had to train-ed down from Boon Lay.. It’s UBER far! Anyway, we eat & gossip at Pasta Mania, PS for super long! 5.30 to around 9? After which was an adventure to source for the most appropriate place to camwhore, lol. We end up taking pictures with the X’mas deco outside PS and at some stairs in the train station. Super paiseh, but super fun! >.<

Shirley Tan couldn’t make it that day, cause she injure herself after a cycling session during her class chalet. Sharon wasn’t free too, she happens to be overseas then.

31st Dec:

HALF DAY!! which I dread. Same workload but less pay! L Lunch-ed at Yoshinoya with Kai Li and Eve. Then it was pretty much slacking at home, waiting for the Taiwan Taipei countdown show to start. I prefer this way of countdown than be packed like sardines in town waiting to see fireworks with the clock strikes twelve. Perhaps it is the lack of company? Or it is just me?

Resolutions for 2009:

-To be fitter than year 2008.

-To be happier than year 2008.

-To be more adventurous than year 2008.

-To pass driving test by this year!

-To better manage my time!

1^st Jan:

Baked a dozen of Chocolate Mud Cupcakes today. The result was pretty satisfactory for a first timer at cupcakes. J

3^rd Jan:

Removed my lower braces today! Finally!! Going to remove my upper braces on 10^th Feb!

Head down to Paya Lebar, This Fashion. Bought 2 dresses & 1 top! J Anyway, some Aunties cut my queue. I was a little frustrating since the cashier was super slow-mo and by paying separately, they were really testing my patience.

To avoid paying ERP, we didn’t go down to Suntec. Instead, we went down to Victoria Street Wholesale Centre after dinner to get our yearly stock of dried goods. Spent a bomb there. >.<

4^th Jan:

Went down to Sim Lim to get all the necessary PSP accessories. Saw Gurmit Singh and his kids there too.

Head down to Carefour, Suntec to get the cheap abalone deal. Window-shopped.

5^th Jan:

A great sense of achievement to be able to rush off work at 6 today! J Something really stupid happen! And only my colleagues will know!

6^th Jan:

Conclusion of the day, I’ve mad colleagues. Upon knowing most (all) departments other than us can claim OT pay. My dear colleagues when berserk! Ended off work at 6* today. Met YS & dinner-ed at Long John & window shopped at Centrepoint. It was pretty much a complaining session for me!

7^th Jan:

Collected my retainers from clinic today. Just another frustrating day! Rush off at 6 to meet the girlfriends at Toa Payoh! J It has been so long since I last saw them?! Miss them like crazy. Dinner-ed at Pasta Mania before heading off to Macs for a crap-ing session.

8^th Jan:

Lunch-ed at Macs, since most colleagues want to have the twister fries. The rest of the day is pretty much normal.

9^th Jan:

Satisfied a want today: Drank Starbucks!

10^th Jan:

Walked to Westmall, Grocery shopped. That all!

11^th Jan:

Highlighted my hair. Went down to Raffles City. Bought a tube dress & a wallet from Robinson! Paid for the wallet myself. Dinner-ed at a old Hainanese restaurant near Bugis.

Christmas Eve!

Lucky I prepared sufficent x’mas for the whole credit control department and those I know in my department. Some of the collegues even baked/ made food! It was just like v-day in sch! Woed half day today! After that was lunch at Thai Express in Paragon before heading home.

Watched Ip Man with my collegues tonight! The movie was worth the watch.

In the end, I didn’t have to pay for my psp console. Dad got it in this year’s lucky draw. BUT, it doesn’t come with the cable and memory stick. Got to buy them soon and get it modified. >.<

Anyway, Hui Qi is a happy girl today & she can’t wait for Christmas!

Finally, I’m getting the hang of the job! Managed to clear my morning job without panicking! Lunch-ed in the office today. Tabao-ed prawn mee from Cuppage Plaza, totally gross tho! >.< Afternoon job was as usual a frantic rush! So much to do so little time! Haii..

I’m in love with all my collegues!! They are such a fun group of people to be with! I had so much fun and laughter today! Laughing till my stomach hurts. HAHA. Looking forward to the dare that someone was supposed to do. HAHA. Movie with the collegues tmr!

Meetings with the dancers at Northpoint today! Didn’t exactly do much, It was more of a catching up session. Lunch-ed at the food court at Northpoint. Left for Safra Yishun. Played Billard for the 1st time in my life! It was supper tyco! All random shots and the ball just went in. Lol! I guess billard kind of fun. But wouldn’t want to try it unless i’m with the girls. So throw face!! Arcade-ed for some time before heading to the bowling alley. Actually wanted to have a game with ET BUT the waiting time for a lane was around 45 min?! Camwhored at the bowling alley instead!

Should I attend the jap lanuage school at Kovan? Is uber far!!

A bunch of inconsiderate colleagues just had to have durain cake in the office today. Even though I wasn’t sitting directly in front of them, I could smell the durain. -.- Was feeling naeuous for the whole afternoon. Can’t stand durain smell anymore! I’m okay with the taste though..In the past two years, I haven’t been eating much durains anyway. Perhaps I’ve grown to dislike durains. Who knows really, 1 day I will like durains again. Till then, don’t ever bring durains especially processed durain food products near me.
